Busy Sunday.
Yesterday, I got the question why I dont make the daily photos more conform, in the way Jonathan Keller, the master of daily self portraits, does. The answer is of course two-fold. First, It’s already done. Jonathan has found his form, and it is, in itself, a piece of art. I’m struggeling to find another angle, and I think a bit of background, togeather with short notes about the day adds a bit of flavour to the project. Secondly, I’m not that structured. I forget about taking my photo some days, and when I remember, I better do it right there and then. I have great difficulties in keeping routines. I wake up at different places, at different hours, and with very different schedules each day. Therefore this form, with different backgrounds and different poses, better reflects my being, and actually adds to the bigger picture, which won’t be visible in many years time.
