You know how some people worry about Google knowing too much about our surfing habits? Every time Google puts up a new service such as GMail, the Googel Toolbar, Google Analytics the usual guys turn up wearing their tin-foil headgear.

Today, when emptying the trash in my GMail account I noticed that instead of the web snippets that usually show on top of the inbox was replace by text messages about recycling. First there where missages such as “Plastic bags can be reused as bin liners or package stuffing”, “Recycled glass bottles can be made into roads, tiles, even surfboards” and “Newspapers can be reused as wrapping paper for gifts”. Then suddenly “You can make a lovely hat out of previously-used aluminium foil“:

Tin-foil hat message: Google.com - Even Google has taken on the tin-foil hat talk

Well what can you say? Just that only Google would do that sort of thing. Go get those tin-foilers!
