Brittish Lottery - Stella Roberts
Yet another lottery scam, this time labeled Brittish Lottery has landed in my inbasket. The sender alias is Mrs Stella Roberts, and the claims agent alias is Anthony Pedro. Both using yahoo.co.uk addresses. I’m urged to call a phone number in the UK: +447045750626, and they are in a hurry. If I don’t call them within 3 working days of their notification, my winnings will be revoked. Oh, and of course, they want me to keep quiet about it. Big chance of that! Here’s the full notification mail, and it is nothing but a scam.

There are no auto-generated e-mail address lotteries anywhere in the world.
Did you purchase a lottery ticket? In fact, have you ever purchased a lottery ticket where you have to stat your name?
The thing is, to run a lottery, you need people to purchase lottery tickets. And if you hand out free lottery tickets just based on guessed e-mail addresses, there are no money to hand out, is there?
One more thing. Ask yourself why these messages are never sent to your e-mail address. If they have drawn it, shouldn’t they know it? Instead they are sent out to hidden e-mail lists, or to the scammers themselves with your address as a BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) receipient.
Also. The scammers never use any official looking e-mail addresses. Always Yahoo addresses as in your mail..
So, I’m afraid that your mail was a fake a well.
