Jane Furness Gordon and the Powerball prize award
Some spammers are easier to detect than others. The first giveaway is that they tend to use strange Yahoo! domains for sending their mail. This one, acting under the alias of David Thomas Clark, urges me to contact a Ms Jane Furness Gordon, who is supposed to be working for a company in England, but uses a yahoo.gr email address. Now how believable is that?
It’s nothing but yet another lottery scam.

The giveaway - to me - is the generous sprinkling of ‘!’ all over the place. Congratulations, indeed! BTW, before I read Akin’s take on ‘I go chop your dollars’ (or that the people arrested were released), I told my friends here that the arrest of Osuofia was with malice aforethought, probably someone well-connected, who had been taken to the cleaners - and could not bear to see someone make money out of calling all such people ‘mugus’. It is all right for the white man to take the black man for a ride. Not so the opposite.
