Just like everybody here, I too received not only one, but about 6 or 7 emails,telling me I won millions. I replied to the fist one. What they did is send me a form to fill in (they didn’t ask for my bank account or anything else, just my name, address and batch number etc which they send me before)so I filled it in and send it back. After that, they told me to go to Spain to claim the prize! Well, I mailed back I couldn’t do that, and they replied by sending me a contact for ‘their’ lawyer so i could still claim the dough. That’s when I walked away. I have recently received another email. I just noticed, the emails comes from a hotmail account! So it’s clearly a scam. Besides, why would a company who called itself Euro millions give out an amount in US dollars?

I believe the scammers are concentrating on the land mail rather than the email, as most of th epeople ignor it.

I received a letter via snail mail today forwarded from another address I used to live at in the US. I found it surprising that Euromillion, Lottery International would spend the postage to send me a letter from the UK, and how they got my address in the US. I can’t believe they sent me a Lottery Payment Processing Form to fax back. The form wanted me to list all of my personal information bank account numbers and routing numbers along with next of kin information. What, so they can try and scam my family too? The title on the second form was UK Bonds Security & Finance LTD. Anyone else get this letter in the mail?

Mike from US in entry 222, I got the same letter man. Same photos and names and as you said it’s in color. How did they get our addresses in the US? I have a brother who lives in the UK, does that mean someone in the UK Postal Service is getting my address off of letters to him? Something has to be illegal about that. It’s the only way I know of that someone in the UK would get my home mailing address.

I’m glad I decided to do a search on this lottery bull crap because I’ve been living in extasy for 2 days now thinking about having won all this money.

Hi all,

I received a letter through the post this morning, something similar to all the above. They didn’t ask for any cash but said that they would send the cash via a cheque or bank transfer. There’s no way i’m giving out bank details and personal info but you always have that glimmer of hope! It was sent from Spain. The post mark was Malaga and the office address was Barcelona. Malaga is the costa del crime right?! It said that the money would be kept under a personal payment protection bond.
The signee on the bottom was Elijah Biraculoses.
It all looks very official with a stamp and barcodes etc. They don’t metion anything about paying a percentage to claim the cash…

I got one of the letters too. What I want to know is how they got my name and address. I have only used this address for setting up phone and electricity. Other than that I have had 2 online purchases delivered here. I assume they have gotten into someone’s database, which leads me to wonder if they could possibly have my credit card information. This is unbelievable!!! This just happened to me and of course I fell for it…I really don’t know how could I believe such a thing!! I’ve repleied back to them already, I’ve filled out the application forma with personal info, but no bank account info or any of that (just name, age, sex, nationality, address etc.)
After all though, I’m very happy that I decided to put my brain to work, I googled the so called Euro Millions Agency and saw this eventually. You’re hoping that you have won the one million dollars, but at the same time in the back of your head your thinking ”what if this is a scam”? But you still don’t want to think a scam could happen to you…well it can happen! And don’t fall for it just like me!

got one of these letters today, ”my agent” (never knew I had one, haha) had bought a ticket in my name, how generous of him…. Now too bad ”my agent” never ticked off the number to the right stating how many numbers on the coupon were crossed out, since this makes it impossible to deliver the coupon, hahaha! (in Spanish: Múltiples: Sólo en bloque 1, marque 6,7,8,9,ó 10 números y 2 estrellas, a la derecha del boleto la casilla que indica los números marcados, roughly translates into: when playing a system, use only the first block, cross out 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 numbers and 2 stars, and to the right on the coupon cross out the square which indicates how many numbers you’ve ticked off (hmmm, very rough translation )). So bye bye 875,555.00 EURO, hehe.
I see people posting here still, asking if the contents of their letters are true, after so much evidence to the contrary. What a shame decent people lose their hard earned cash to disgusting cheating bastards who send out these letters to pray on minds of any normal human being who dreams of having a large amount of money to live a better life. What do the authorities who we pay in our taxes do to investigate and prosecute these fraudsters. they sent it at 16th october,but just now I opend it. if I won 1 million, I don´t believe if not put it front of me, I live in Ecuador, and I will not go to Spain to claim the million. Even I talk Spanish and its easy for me to check them, but.. who give you money for nothing, I need money, but thats not a way to have.. isnn´t it?

I receive this emails. At first I was able to believe it. I even sent first my name, age, mobile number and account number. Then the stupid agent email me to fill-up a form ( seen below). But when I opened your site and realized everything, I didn’t reply them anymore knowing it’s a big scam.
They don’t really have conscience in making tricks on people.
They would really go to hell!!!

However, I think most people who actually send in their personal info don’t have English as their first language. Also, most of them are probably quite new on the internet, och have received the scam as a real (snailmail) letter.
