Hello,all you winners,

After winning billions without a single ticket bought via e-mail,I have received my first actual letter,winning 915.777euros from some spanish Loteria Nacional,with address in Portugal.
You’d think that if they have that kind of money,they could afford a decent copy machine,and a course in spelling and grammar.

What I actually wonder,is if anybody is still fooled by this.I mean,even the donation request from the local church choir looks more professional.
Working as a decorator in film,I would at least have some respect,if they took some care in their fraud work.

I’m thinking of giving them an example of proper work by making up a warrant by some imaginary international anti-fraud police force,and sending it to their address.

My mother-in-law received this letter in UK dated 30 August 2010 with an address in Madrid. She knew it was a scam but the funny thing for us is that I work in Madrid a few doors away from the address given. I went to see the ”agency” but it is just a residential building and the number given, 249D, could be any of 7 different flats as the letter doesn’t state which floor! The fax and ‘phone numbers work but they guy doesn’t want to talk. I am handing the letter in to the local police station so they can take whatever action they like.

Habe am 16.01.2010 eine Gewinnbenachrichtigung bekommen.
Von EURO MILLONES LOTTERIA Y APUESTAS S.L..
Ich habe 785.900.-Euro gewonnen.
Die Los Nr. habe ich, auch die Glücksnummern, sind richtig, sowie die Seriennummer.
Ausgestellt am 13.01.2010 die Copie und geschickt an mich.
Ist da alles richtig.

i resently received a letter saying that i won the eurosmilliones, through the int;l promotional programme. but its a scamm to. it said everything the examples said it would say with sum words different. why do the these people play with emotoins of others? do they not no what they do to peoples dreams an hope. I pray that my life would change one day an thought it had, but it was a scamm. Man they dont know what the good lords gonna do to them you wait it want be good.but what i am going to do is use their numbers to play the lottery maby it was a sign from god to have those numbers. sincerely yours me

My mother had received a similar scam recently (July 2009). This guys don’t stop, this time from Helena Fernando, Loteria Coordinator and Antonio Gomez Euro Millones Loteria Fundiciary Agent. Antonio’s email address is in France, Helena says is in Spain and the email is sent from an address in Germany.

Just a quickie on this subject today I receieved a letter as above same figure, I phoned Dr Garcia and told him I would be in Madrid on Thursday and could we conclude the tranasaction there and then.
He told me he could and the wire transfer could happen on the spot, I also told him I would bring 3 freinds he was not at all bothered but would not give me an address, only phone on arrival and then he would say where to meet.
if I was sure he would turn up I would willingly fly to Madrid and put him to the test but there again he might like hospital food

Thank you for this website which enabled me to compare the letter addressed to my wife on the envelope but no name within, dated 29th Jan 2009, with all the others.
”Her” letter was signed DON ANTONIO PEDRO, Vice President International Lottery Board S.L. The questionaire was headed ALLIED WELLS SECURITY COMPANY S.L at Av. De San Morales, no. 25, Blk 7D, C.P. 28006 Madrid Spain. Tel 0034 689 264 739 Fax 0034 911 014 328.

This letter was very similar to all the others quoted so they are still at it and should be arrrested. The winning sum this time was/is 1.015.000 euros, so it’s going up!

Please someone get the Spanish Police onto the job. The main clues were mobile phone numbers, pixilated print, no name in the address, grammatical mistakes in the English, inconsistant varying font and a generally phoney feel. This is similar in style to the Nigerian scams which raged on. A wealthy acquaintance was taken in by one of those and near beggared, BEWARE and do not be gullible.

Do NOT bother to open a new account to receive this. Do NOT release any personal information. Do NOT even reply, it will cost an international call, you will be badgered to send a fee and so on. If you didn’t enter this ”lottery” in the first place you can’t have won. As has been said ”there’s no such thing as a free lunch”. The guys at the other end are unpleasant, clever, tenacious and criminal. Beyond handing such a letter over to your national police’s Fraud Squad or whatever do NOTHING.

The funny thing is that not only do they send ”photocopies” of dodgy-looking headed paper but they also have a typo in the very title of the letter. ”Lotería”, señores, not ”Lotteria”. Another interesting detail… they keep changing the address for each an every victim they target.

Ah, well, the mink and the yellow diamonds will have to wait, I’m afraid. Good for the chap that wrote to the Ministerio de Economía y Hacienda. We’d be interested to know if
