I’ve had a really lousy Thursday and Friday. First, my left knee almost stopped working on Wednesday night. Then I woke up with a feber and a splitting headache on Thursday morning. Next Malte came in and told me he didn’t feel so good eigher. Then, my dog Chili, sneezed and then screamed (yes screamed, not barked) with pain.
It’s really horrible when a dog is in pain. Mostly since you can’t ask him where he hurts. In his case, it’s either his right knee, his back or his hips. He’s a seven year-old Labrador Retriever, with artrosis and B hips… We had the vet come over and she gave him pain killers in a shot and prescribed more pain killers in pills (with liver taste no less). It didn’t help one bit. Except when it came to relax. He was still in pain, but not knotted up anymore.
I’ve been worried sick since then, and today we also got him a penicillin cure. I do hope he gets well real soon.
As for me, my headache is still there, the fever is better though but my left knee is really stiff.
Malte however is well again. Always something.
