What is the Gotenborg SMS Lottery
2006-12-28 - Since this summer, there has been reports about various SMS lottery scams, that are said to be originated in Sweden. Personally, I don't really think they are. Even though they state an address for a Swedish Post Office Box in Gothenburg. Mark the spelling (not Gotenborg) as it is spelled in the sting mail. There might be a P O box there, but I vage that all incoming mail is resent somewhere else.

02/14 2006 - Last Friday, a Nigerian 419-scammer was sentenced to jail for 376 years by a Lagos court. Harrison Odiawa was convicted for "stealing, forgery, impersonation and conspiracy to obtain money by false pretences" contrary to the Advance Fee Fraud Act, the Nigerian Daily Independent reports.

I år 2008 inträder vintertid (eller normaltid som en del tidstalibaner gillar att säga) natten till söndag 2008-10-26. 2008-08-07 - När jag för några dagar sedan konstaterade att min kategorisida om sökmotoroptimering hade trillat ner 10 positioner i Google-sökningar på frasen sökmotoroptimering så uppmärksammades jag i en kommentar på att förstasidan på Lindqvist.com faktiskt just nu placerar sig som etta på Google-sökningar på frasen "S-ä-m-s-t på SEO". Ett småkul sammanträffande tyckte jag, och en festlig longtail-effekt. Det visade sig vara en felaktig slutsats. Det är inte ett sökresultat som jag stör mig sådär överdrivet mycket på eftersom jag inte tror att det görs några som helst seriösa sökningar på frasen. Däremot stör det mig mycket att någon har dragit igång en Google-bombningskampanj i syfte att placera förstasidan på lindqvist.com på denna och liknande sökningar och att denna kampanj har fått till effekt att sajten sjunker undan på andra sökningar. »»»
