Loads of crap

12/17 2002 – The last time I received spam about septic tanks it was from ”Benjamin Hutcherson”. This time the sender is supposed to be ”[epost73:Jon Heffner]”. Well both use the same free-of-charge-send-all-the-spam-you-like website in South Africa and they both try to sell the same crappy product.

Septic tank systems? Would you buy one (or try one out) after receiving spam? The shitty company behind this is called SPC and I just will not link to them, but they have a really ugly site, they seem to know just about nothing about marketing and they insult their potential customers in their spam. (Yes Jon, I’m jumping.))

The site (that I won’t link to but that might be found by searching for SPC+Septic+Tank+Free+Trial) doesn’t contain any contact information whatsoever. Even after filling out the Free Trial form you won’t get any idea whatsoever as of where SPC might be hiding out. Except that the offer that they sent to me, a Swede, only is valid in the US.

But the testimonials?

Oh yeah. Jon Heffner knows enough to have put in som testimonials in the site. And that’s something I just can’t help but publsih here:

Unsolicited Testimonials from Satified Customers (meaning they didn’t tell their customers to write this…)

”We are amazed at the effectiveness of SPC. We were at the point of

putting in a new leaching field and tried your product as a last

resort. We’ve had no backup of water in the cellar since we started to

use this.”

Mary Lemieux

Springfield, MA

”Since using your SPC product, our septic tank and leach field problems are solved…

we are very grateful and wish to express our appreciation to you for

having such a fine product.”

Mrs. R. Berthiaume

Loomis, CA

”I am pleased with the performance of your product. I tested SPC

against two other septic treatment brands by putting half a teaspoon of SPC in a glass, versus the other two. Your product was clearly the

superior one… I will pass on your name to my friends.”

Michael S. Hingle

Chesapeake Beach, MD

”I usually refrain from writing glowing testimonials for any product,

but you have amazed me beyond all comprehension. Your product is

amazing, your price reasonable, your worth every penny. Please feel free to use my testimonial. I ask only that you do not use my last name.” Why on earth not? /N!kke

Wendy K.

Malibu, CA

”For 5 months I had to have my septic pumped every month. Since I began this product I have not pumped once in 6 months. THANK YOU.”

Karen Bonner

Norfolk, MA

”I am an SPC customer in Connecticut. When I was first introduced to

the product I experimented with it to judge its effectiveness, and was

impressed. As a science advisor and physics instructor, I interested a

few of the seventh grade students in the role of SPC in the operation of septic systems. SPC worked as advertised, and was a useful teaching

tool.”
