Wow! Yesterday it seems as if I actually won 990,513.00 Euro! Not, I’m afraid. The National Lottery AKA The UK International Lottery may or may not exist in real life, but if you received a mail like the one below, I’m afraid it’s nothing but an e-mail lottery scam.

    Well @abhilash, it wasn’t me who sent you the mail ;-)

    However, if you bouth yourself a lottery ticket, there might be a small chance that you actually won something, but if you only got a mail out of the blue, I’d say that it is 99.99% chance that it was a scammer who sent it. Just delete it, move on and forget about it.

    I received an e-mail on the 5th August 2009 stating that my e-mail was one of many that was pulled from the system that was part of 1,200,000.00 in british pounds. The person is a Mark Johnson from Equity Investment Limited with address 132 Blackburn Road, Bolton Blv 9RP, England. Is this e-mail false and if so let me know because a number of other people I know has also received it. I think the necessary authorities should be informed of this if fraud is taking place and people is sending the details.

    Any ideas…………?

    However, if you bouth yourself a lottery ticket, there might be a small chance that you actually won something, but if you only got a mail out of the blue, I’d say that it is 99.99% chance that it was a scammer who sent it. Just delete it, move on and forget about it.
