This is not an ordinary blog. And it isn’t a phot blog either. It’s a therapeutic attempt to postpone the decay that everybody is facing. By taking, watching and publishing an image of self every single day, I hope to become more aware of how I look and appear to others.
There are several earlier daily photo projects. My favourite is Jonathan Keller’s daily photo project, that has been runing for 8 years now. Watch it. I can only hope to keep this up that long.
May 17, 2007: Looking throgh my first 37 pictures, I realise that a project like this might seem a bit boring to the outsider. It’s good that I keep changing backgrounds, since I change so very little between the semi-daily photos. That, by the way, is not by purpouse, it’s just that it is almost impossible for me to keep a daily schedule. Almost everything I do is done on impulse, and I only remember to take the daily photo when I get that impulse.
Here is a daily baby project. Bet he will hate his dad for it for a while when he grows up. Probably right before he changes his mind and starts over on his very own project: everyday.davidpcraig.com
