Asia Online International Lottery
A new brand of the online lottery scam has opened. This time said to be based in Malaysia, and under the name of Asia Online International Lottery. It’s a scam for sure, and my faithful server-side spam filter has stamped it as spam, but let it through anyway. It’s a weird detail that these scammers has sent it out with a blind carbon copy to my address. A true givaway that this was not intended for me only. How many others got it?

How to get $1200000.00 as quickly as possible?
April 18th, 2007 at 9:29 am
Kevin,
First of all, you might want to lower your goals a little. 1.2 million dollars are quite an aim, and I can tell you that you wont’ get it neither by entering lotteries, believing in false lottery winning notifications, or even by running your own lottery scam.
Tried hard work, ingenious trade or even borrowing the money?

I had the same email on monday i must admit i have had contact with these people and when i told them i was not paying them $360 they got very aggresive i have informed western union of these people and the authorities are now looking into it, the person i spoke to was called wong and he was a very persuasive person so try not to be fooled by him!

The first thing I do when I get one of these stupid e-mails is google them or check them out on hoax-slayer.com. Come on guys, we need to use our common sense a little, how can anyone even possibly think of giving out such personal details like a passport. Some even ask for your bank account, now that is definately a cause for concern.
Please don’t believe this stuff without proper research, it’s not worth it!!
May 16th, 2007 at 8:29 am
hey guys! i have got the same mail today. As i already got one previously on my other Yahoo account so this time I directly checked on google and confirmed here itself about this fraud. So be careful friends as these crooks are changing identities day to day.

Hello Samuel,
First of all, you didn’t get an email from me or from this site. The mail you received was most probably sent out by one of the scam organisations. If you read through the comments above, and browse the rest of this site, you will see that many others have received the exact same email as you.

Who will be so nice to give away tons of money? Where is the legal funds coming from? If it is real thing why don’t they just deduct the courier fees from the grand prize?
What a easy business is this? Imagine that over several hundred million people using the web, how much money they can collect for courier service fees if there is 1% responded to them?
scam!!! Scam!!!

Thank you for posting this. I had checked my usual hoax sites & they had nothing on it yet, so off to good ‘ole Google I went. Now I’m off to let family & friends (who are a little more easily scammed) know about it.

got a similar e-mail - although its amazing how many scams lack originality. although under the name asian-european international lottery claiming a $700,000,00 win, however in order for it to be couried to my country, i needed to pay $1000.00 approx. US dollars if i wanted it in 24 hrs and then other amounts were given for 2, 4, and finally a week, and theis needed to be paid through a western union office in my country. so as it seems to good to be true, researched and got your site. so while the name is not exactly the same - it still smacks of scam! anyone who wants money for fee so that you can get your prize is so lost! shows the state of the world today. your views is much appreciated.
PS: this originated from Malaysia

I have won at least 20 lotterys in the last 3 months. I’m either a very lucky man or
I have excellent Karma. I was fortunetly lucky enough to have been tought by my
father that nothing is free. I even won one that claimed to be the Microsoft/MSN/
Yahoo Lottery and refered to Bill Gates in part of the e-mail. Nice try you A-HOLES!
I just don’t understaned how the Chumps! can get away with this type of crap. Where are the Internet Police? I hope these scamers all end up in prison or HELL!
Who ever you are you better hope that you don’t get cought. If you do then I and thousands of other people are going to KICK YOUR A_ _!!!!!!!!
