I don’t know about Pastor Powell 2 through 6, but the original pastor also fell ill with the same needle as Pastor Powell the seventh. His lawyer, though, is Barrister Madumadu.

I recently got the same email. Saying I was willed 2 million. Internet Willing? what is next?

Apparantly the good old Pastor Powell has been fighting his impending death. Also his investments must have been blessed as well because while the stock market has lost 25% of its value, Pastor Powell has made $100,000 since he originally started dying!

BTW there is a real Pastor Powell in the NY/NJ area, he is alive and well and his church would undoubtably be where his money goes rather than a random cyber space resident like myself.

Sorry, I just noticed I said $100,000. I stand corrected, it is actually $300,000 that his will has increased by. With all the millions that are being stated in scam emails do you think it is a trend to decrease the amount to make it seem more believeable? I mean I have personally recieved over a couple billion in email scam amounts over the years, some as high as $30,000,000 per email. Now everyone knows that kind of money doesn’t just fall into your pocket, no matter what the percentage cut you are supposed to get, but maybe if the $$$ is smaller then they may think it more ligit. Someone laundering $10,000 may be more believable than someone trying to transfer $30,000,000 of thier inheritance from an oil barron relative. Just a thought.

the funny thing about willing things that are evil minded that person is overcome by evil, so what pastor powell says he or she has will be I asked in the Name of Jesus Christ that this scam stop today and the person how wrote it will be changed .but if not be given over to what he or she said they have.you say you have so you will haveHIV-Aids this is the way of evil path take people

Sorry Wendy, I don’t do mail concerning these matters (I wouldn’t do anything else.

The Pastor Powell is a fraud. The scammers behind his alias are trying to cheat you for money. If you reply they will need some small funds in order to get a laywer, some bribes, some fees and some taxes that need to be payd. All of it going straight into the scammers’ pockets.

Stay way – that’s my advice.

I’ve recently been talking with someone by the name Christiana Casswell who is a missionary in Africa. Does this sound like the same person you’ve been contacted by Tony?

I’ve been getting e-mails from the Christiana Casswell as well, Tony. Is she claiming to be a missionary from Africa as well?

i too recieved the ame letters but one they went 1 tep furtherand involved theFBI
now wouldthey really go threw hat much troulbe, i also go a copy of the will. i too didnt believeis ther a leal torivio in hre cause they are using a copy of you passport saying you are a fbi agent.

Big question, why wouldn’t he leave it to his church? I’m sure they’re lots of needy people in his vicinity?

I can not believe any of you have actually considered even replying to these ”scammers”. Let me make this clear. Theses are all pernicious scams. No stranger has chosen you to recieve any money. Don’t be STUPID. I’ve seen hundreds of these letters and some are pretty tricky. The best thing to do when you get one of these letters is to turn it into the local police and FBI (the actual FBI, not the scammers), then immediatly delete it. Do not reply. Do not open it (some of them contain virus’s).

had me going because i feel desperate. what a reminder to get my emotions, senses together. please, being desperate will lead anyone down the wrong path. my solution is to talk to my creditors and make arrangements. pastor powell did well in remindinding. trust in god

i too have resived a will from the good pastor for 800.000. they sent me to the capital bank of london to speack to a mr hamberg. they wanted my account info to wire the $ i said no then they said they will put it on a atm card then said they need 200.00 to send it. Im still talking to them but it sounds too good to be true.

ps ill never send them $ till i get the800.000

Did the Christiana Casswell thing turn out to be a scam. Just wanting to know if anyone has uncovered that or not.

Just received the email,told him I was willing to help and he sent another email stating I should contact his ”God gearing lawyer” and give him my personal info.The amount of money was 600,000 for me,200,000 for a charity of my choice.

this is bad i am a mother struggling and he wants to play jokes on people who really need the money this person or persons are ****ing *** holes

Christiana Casswell turned out to be a fraud. After some time she started e-mailing me saying that she needed money for a plane ticket home. After I told her that I was more than willing to wait for her to arive on a later flight (After she got paid) she began to ask if I could send money to help out the ‘poor dying AIDs children’ she was caring for since they didn’t have the money for medicine. I wasn’t able to confirm anything, but she certainly turned her attention to money very quickly.

Don’t believe this scam because I got the same email from Pastor Powell and Mr. Ernest Hamburg, also there is an Agent Leal Torivio that says that he goes to the bank to check with the board of Capital Bank of London to make sure that the transaction was going like it should and that the money is yours and that no one can stop you from getting it because they can be sued.

I just got Pastor Powell’s e-mail a few days ago. His will has increased to $800,000.
