I do a lot of surveys which pay you with lottery entries.When I received an email for Herman Franklin to say I had won the British Award 2006 Lottery I thought maybe. I was to contact Barrister Clifford Bond to process my prize. He asked for money, then more money for processing. I saw my bank manager and he said it was a scam and Bond had A$38,000.
of my money. The bank manager tried to recover it and so did I. Bond said I would not get my prize unless I paid even more. I told him I was going to report him but he couldn’t care less
I started with the Police, Interpol and quite a few others. Bond even said he could get an investor to pay the large amount but he would want a share of the prize.I hope they catch these criminals and lock them up. A refund of my money would be nice too.

Yeah…they almost got me too!!! This guys name that emailed me is Jon Bosch. My friend called him. He answered the phone and spoke to her. That doesn’t make it real. But i received the same Belgian Lottery Claim form. They told me to fly to the Netherlands, of course, and someone would pick me up. They even told me what day to be there. Yeah..Okay!!! Guess it was due to all those referential nrs and the seemingly official adress that I actually considered calling the phone number. After all one can only hope… Good thing I googled first, I guess. I just got a letter today what really upsets me is that they only want to give me $915,810.00 and it seems everybody else is getting 1 million or more not fear.

They fooled me too, I can’t express with words that I think of their scam. I got emails from them and at first I thought it was legit. I send a reply but did not ask for any money, however the more I received and read the more I become suspicious. my husband got three the same scam emails from three different people, two are from netherlands( Dr. Karl Peterson and Miller Green) and one from Spain. I received the following e-mail scam at 11:00amEST, on January 15th 2008. I immediately searched for information about this con artist, MR.JOE VAN HAEZEBROUK and his accomplice, fictitious name or not, Mrs. Sarah Benson (Promotions Coordinator), and determined that my suspicions were correct. There is no way that a person could be the winner of a lottery for which they did not purchase a ticket! This is especially significant, if the announcement is made via a Hotmail address. What a joke, but I can see how some unsuspecting individuals could be tricked into believing that their dream and everyone else’s dream of becoming a millionaire, could be a reality. I really pity anyone who falls for any of this and divulges any personal information, let alone any kind of banking or financial information! Here is a copy of the contents of that e-mail:

My God. Isn’t there any site we could like report this to or something? This fraud hysteria should NOT remain unchecked otherwise many people are going to get ripped off their hard won cash.
This isn’t the first time such an idiotic attempt has been made to fool me, and believe me, the first time it happened I ALMOST fell for it. I went as far as even calling this ”contacts person”, who it turned out was a bloody south-african. LOL. I live in Norway, and him being from there snapped me up, forntunately, as I was very close to providing him with numbers and ciphers of personal nature.

Be very careful what you’re trusting at. I was a little smart on this second fraud attempt and immediately checked out titles and names similar to the ”winning award company thing” on google.

Today i received the same e_mail with the US$1,000,000.00 prize….so, i better don´t buy a Ferrari….=0)
