They fooled me too, I can’t express with words that I think of their scam. I got emails from them and at first I thought it was legit. I send a reply but did not ask for any money, however the more I received and read the more I become suspicious. I received the following e-mail scam at 11:00amEST, on January 15th 2008. I immediately searched for information about this con artist, MR.JOE VAN HAEZEBROUK and his accomplice, fictitious name or not, Mrs. Sarah Benson (Promotions Coordinator), and determined that my suspicions were correct. There is no way that a person could be the winner of a lottery for which they did not purchase a ticket! This is especially significant, if the announcement is made via a Hotmail address. What a joke, but I can see how some unsuspecting individuals could be tricked into believing that their dream and everyone else’s dream of becoming a millionaire, could be a reality. I really pity anyone who falls for any of this and divulges any personal information, let alone any kind of banking or financial information! Here is a copy of the contents of that e-mail:
