In a media advisory the US Federal Trade Commission, FTC, announces a cross-border initiative involving the FTC, Assistant U.S. Attorneys, Canadian Competition Bureau, and the Attorneys General of Florida, North Carolina, and Texas. The FTC also will release details of a report to Congress titled Effectiveness and Enforcement of the CAN-SPAM Act.
The press conference is due on December 20, with Lydia Parnes, Director, FTC Bureau of Consumer Protection; Andrea Rosen, Assistant Deputy Commissioner at the Canadian Competition Bureau; and P. Alan Curry, from Proxypot.com.
