This lottery scam is entirely new to me, but seems to have been around since at least July 2006. It makes use of the wll-known and respected brand name Heineken to , and makes use of several well-known brands like Heineken and I can’t even start to tell you what Heineken thinks of that…
The setup is as simple as always in lottery scams. I am set up to believe that I have won a large amount of cashe, in this case €150,000 Euros, and the sting is to make us all pay a small (or in some cases not som small) fee before we can collect our winnings. As usual it is full of references to a lot of different names and companies, making sure everything looks legitimat, and in effect confusing any real claims.
If you received one of these emails. Just trash it. The lottery never existed. You didn’t win anyting.
