I have also received the similar mail yesterday from euro milliones international lottery progrm and thet also mentioned some steps to link up with some website named alicanteloteria.com which contains the winning number which is mentioned in my mail..dont know wats true or false…That Agent told me to call him tomorrow at 11 a.m but after reading all comments about scams i dont feel like calling him but feeling like hitting him with stick…
if they are fraud plz take some action against them for ditching innocent people like this..God can not forgive such cruel people who play with the feelings of others like anything and make fool of them….

It seems like a scam because every other person happens to be a winner for the money which is neva meant to be there at first place. I was fool enough to call them and showing interest to claim with all that excitement which you probably going thru, and funny thing is they are more excited than me (who won million) please !!!!!!!!! Well, i still have one more day to claim for the imaginery jackpot lol, i might just call them back to hear their funny jamaican accent ( KONG-RRA-CHU-LAY-SHIONS ) and get their info out. You could call them and find out without giving your personal info especially social or credit card, i would care less about name and address which anyone can pull out from yellowpages or online. So, it won’t hurt you just to confirm what’s all that about if you really think you won something !!!

I replied to one of these scammers and told them to prove that they are legit. Guess what? They told me that they had a website and I could see for myself that they ment business. It’s a scam for sure, but I don’t think you need to worry about submitting your name and address. What the scammers want, is to get you to believe that you have won all that money. They want you to feel really stinking rich.

Then, they come up with all kinds of fees, commissions and taxes that have to be payed before you can get the money. In the comments here on the site numerous people have witnessed about paying more and more before realizing that they will never get any money at all.

Hi, I recieved one from Clinton Howard102@yahoo.co.uk, on may 27th 2007, I am in New Zealand and knew nothing about all this but have followed it through as far as receiving confirmation that my,” cheque, certificate,and clear source funds certificate” are waiting for me at a courier company I am to pay courier charges as the check has been insured in accorance with section 13(1)n of the national gambling act . This all sounds real but I do realise it’s a have , I’m allowed to dream.

I replied to them because I saw their ad on a free Maldivian website stating they are currently residing at Hulhumale’, (an island near Male’) and so I thought of meeting them. At last they gave me their address : James.. I can’t remember the rest. But what I do remember is NIGERIA, their country as they stated. Most of the times they create their emails on myway.com…. Even on the Euro Million Lottery form they put their e-mail as: impel700@myway.com

From that day onwards I never trust Nigerians. Also some ebay sellers NEVER SHIP THEIR ITEMS TO NIGERIA.

I got a similar letter by mail and decided to call these guys. First, they speak terrible english. When I asked the ”agent” any details about the lottery system, he said that I should just fill out the form and send it. He also said that he can’t give me any more information without the filled form at the moment and then just hung up!!!

Here’s the copy of the letter i received today.
There should be a way to ”collect-call” them, i.e. to call them and let them pay for the costs of that telephone call. I’m cuious if they would pick up the phone…

I also received an awards letter. I responded and told them I didnot have international calling. I was given an appointment for July 15.I didn’t receive it until July 16. I was asked to fly to Brussells and told them I could not do that. I was then appointed a lawyer to claim my winnings for me.

I got the same letter from euromillions im going to try and go along with the scam and see if I can get some info about these heartless bastards. SOmeone really needs to do something about this. It ruins peoples lives and drains there hard earned money. Wonder how many names can they come up with. The letter dated 31 july 2007 and since i was in UK for a holiday for 1 month i thought it could be true. called and they emailed me a form for my detail and bank account along with my passport copy. So I did !!!! but while i am faxing the details the fax was on an answering machine then switch to a fax mode, I thought that can’t be so i went in to googles and checked it out … What i don’t understand what are they getting out of it??? They can’t take money from my account OR CAN THEY ???? no idea ….. The point is how could they be stoped and who should we tell…???? I wonder what will happen now ??? I called this lady back again her name is Tina and told her i checked in the net and it seems that there is a scam…. she was shocked and said no no there is no scam… I told her for security reason I will notify the my bank and the police in case anything goes wrong ??? she said great but every thing is ok ???? she is strong with her words … Well that is my story !!!! silly ya. I started to dig, because they sent an account number where to send the money in another bank, called La Caixa, or by Western Union. And then start making their victims pay for small services, such as lawyers fees, bank fees, taxes, commissions… It never ends, and sooner or later their victims realize that there was no reall lottery. And since they never bought a lottery ticket, they have no real claim anyway.

It’s false, it’s bogus, it’s a scam. There absolutely nothing true about the mail you received.

Just recently went on an over 45 yrs Dating web site. Met a fellow supposedly Norweigian who lives in Canada with his 12 yr old son. Appearently he had to rush off to work in Nigeria (with his son) before we got a chance to meet. He asked me to open a bank account so he could transfer money into it from his client, that could be wired back to him from Canada. Appearently they only use cash in Nigeria and he only had an international credit card with him. I questioned why any parent would travel with a child in hand without taking any cash. Needless to say the internet relatonship ended abruptly.

I received an e-mail letter from million lottery of Netherlands stating I am a winner of 900,000 Euros. The classic about this letter is telling other lottery are scam. They are genuine.
I phone up and found the respondent is not convincing and check with google to find the contents in letters issued in other countries is almost the same. I just forget about it and stop wasting my time dreaming of becoming rich. Nothing comes easy.

I to received a letter from Euromillions international programme and I was stupid to rush out of the house to fax the information required for the cash. This morning I made 2 long distance calls to Spain … I can just imagine the cost of those call…. at the first call I made, after speaking for about 5 minutes, the spanish guy said to me: I will call you back in 10 minutes, I am with a customer. I replied alright. so about 15 minutes later the phone rings I picked it up but the line wasn’t working. So I called back and the spanish guy said: I don’t know why but the line wasn’t going through … What I’m wondering if this scam isn’t to make us call long distances probably to this number and they receive commission on the long distance call. It will probably cost me at least 25$ for the call …. I’m so mad, I want to go to Spain to strangle these people.

I have also received a Frauduline email regarding a jackpot sum of 2.7 mil pounds, person claiming to be from Fidelity Finance appointed by Euro Millions International Lottery. At first I believed it, because I played the Euro Lottery on that spesific day they claimed that I have won. I soon enough realiased that this is a scam. They even send me a ”Prize Winning Certificate”.

i got this letter today says that i won $820,000. Well I almost fell for it and just about to call, then I remembered last year my brother also got one like this and turned out a scam. i got a letter saying that i won 900 000$ there was the euro millions number and the claim agent number and they just told us that our ticket was drawn from the computer ballot system and they told us to send a copy of our identification and all. after seeing this website now i know. but still the letter looked true because it came in the mailbox with stamps and showed many email to contact we contacted people on the phone and it looks real.

Always when u have kinda good moment.. then u just cant believe! And here i opened my mailbox.. and what i see? Letter! Congratulations! U won money! I didnt believe .. but then i started to read again and again.. then thought.. Money! it would be good to have some.. maybe it is true? And actually reading all those messages here i understood that i was silly to believe!

And at the same time.. can it be true? Why they do that?

Just like everybody here, I too received not only one, but about 6 or 7 emails,telling me I won millions. I replied to the fist one. What they did is send me a form to fill in (they didn’t ask for my bank account or anything else, just my name, address and batch number etc which they send me before)so I filled it in and send it back. After that, they told me to go to Spain to claim the prize! Well, I mailed back I couldn’t do that, and they replied by sending me a contact for ‘their’ lawyer so i could still claim the dough. That’s when I walked away. I have recently received another email. I just noticed, the emails comes from a hotmail account! So it’s clearly a scam. Besides, why would a company who called itself Euro millions give out an amount in US dollars?

I just got the same scam last week in the mail.
I believe the scammers are concentrating on the land mail rather than the email, as most of th epeople ignor it.
I wanna tell everybody, if you have not put any effort in making manoey & you got money (somehow) it is simply not yours. Here it is not even money it is just a scam to steal your confidential information.

I received a letter via snail mail today forwarded from another address I used to live at in the US. I found it surprising that Euromillion, Lottery International would spend the postage to send me a letter from the UK, and how they got my address in the US. I can’t believe they sent me a Lottery Payment Processing Form to fax back. The form wanted me to list all of my personal information bank account numbers and routing numbers along with next of kin information. What, so they can try and scam my family too? The title on the second form was UK Bonds Security & Finance LTD. Anyone else get this letter in the mail?

I’m glad I decided to do a search on this lottery bull crap because I’ve been living in extasy for 2 days now thinking about having won all this money.

I received a letter through the post this morning, something similar to all the above. They didn’t ask for any cash but said that they would send the cash via a cheque or bank transfer. There’s no way i’m giving out bank details and personal info but you always have that glimmer of hope! It was sent from Spain. The post mark was Malaga and the office address was Barcelona. Malaga is the costa del crime right?! It said that the money would be kept under a personal payment protection bond.
The signee on the bottom was Elijah Biraculoses.
It all looks very official with a stamp and barcodes etc. They don’t metion anything about paying a percentage to claim the cash…

This is unbelievable!!! This just happened to me and of course I fell for it…I really don’t know how could I believe such a thing!! I’ve repleied back to them already, I’ve filled out the application forma with personal info, but no bank account info or any of that (just name, age, sex, nationality, address etc.)
After all though, I’m very happy that I decided to put my brain to work, I googled the so called Euro Millions Agency and saw this eventually. You’re hoping that you have won the one million dollars, but at the same time in the back of your head your thinking ”what if this is a scam”? But you still don’t want to think a scam could happen to you…well it can happen! And don’t fall for it just like me!

I can’t believe anyone is stupid enough to send their personal information or bank details in response to something like this.

All the muppets behind these scams are doing is targetting the terminally daft who would have lost their dough to magic bean sellers in the past.

Stupidity and greed are what fraudsters feed on.

However, I think most people who actually send in their personal info don’t have English as their first language. Also, most of them are probably quite new on the internet, och have received the scam as a real (snailmail) letter.

iv fallen for it too… the same letter as all you guys(Euromillions loteria internacional) and they asked for the form attacthed to be filled in name,address and telephone no. and photocopy of passport…nothing else.. i faxed it..wats gonna happen now…….
